    Please please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Poor manager that is very rude and defensive over who would know what and service is terrible. Read complaint on the BBB they are dead on how this place does business!!! They will lie right to your face to get you to buy an rv!!! Manager joe is running place in ground!     My husband and I went to Wixom General RV to purchase a new trailer . The sale person was great did a good job showing us around . It was what happen next our trailer is two old and general only wanted to give us 1200.00 dollars . We said our trailer is worth like twenty thousands .General up the price to fifteen thousand .     General RV has the worst service department I have ever come across in my life. They fully took advantage of my aunt, very unethical bunch of people there...I wonder NEVER recommend ANYONE get ANYTHING done are better off having a 6yr old do the work!! Add comment

    We purchased our 5th wheel, and had a canopy ordered with lights that were attached to the canopy. We were promised a delivery date, and so we had our other camper cleaned out, and at this time was staying at our seasonal.     I've had nothing but poor service from the General RV service department in Wixom. Two times in for the same issue and it's still not fixed. The third time, the service manager said they won't come to where it's stored to replace a defective part. Either I drive it back and leave it again or they'll mail me the part and I can put it in myself. I will never buy another RV from them again Add comment

    Took our 2015 Rushmore with AC problems (wont cool despite running 24/7) we told them its fine in the shade, but this is florida and where we camp (dog shows) there is not shade. The rig was 90 degrees after two days of the AC running 24/7.     I've been asking for months to have someone out and fix my antenna and hot water heater. they said they came out and fixed antenna, but it's not fixed. They said they came out and fixed my screen. But i had already fixed it myself. My biggest concern is my hot water heater smells like onions!!! so for 6 weeks of camping, involved going home and washing dishes and showering and washing my hands... Read more

    Worst customer service ive ever experienced. Sales blames service then service blames sales and nothing gets fixed. Then on the third time we took our motorhome back in they backed it into another rv & blamed us. Would camp in a tent before i ever purchased from general Add comment

    General rv could care less about the customer once you give them the deposit and your signature, you are literally screwed. We purchased a new 2016 5th wheel we have some manufacturer issues and no one from General rv or forest river manufacturer will answer your phone calls or emails.     Not family oriented at all. Treat their employees like *** and have no loyalty. High pressure sales and incredible mark up. Avoid at all costs. Go to camping world. Add comment
