Just purchased a small trailer when I picked up they hooked it up to my vehicle so it wasn't until I got home that I found that the trailer hitch was too low. I could not put trailer tongue wheel on or remove without someone jacking up the trailer! I took my rig camping within 24 of purchase to check things out and found only half of my electrical was working. Picked up a 2016 Prime Time Sanibel 3251-C, ($78,000) from General RV, Draper, UT on 04/11/16. Kudos to John F(sales rep), Zak (sales manager) and especially Ben (delivery service). They went out of their way to help us take delivery. Especially Ben. We had a number of issues on the RV that he addressed promptly and professionally. We had an issue with a warranty question. General RV DOES NOT cover your RV. Prime Time/the manufacturer does. Any warranty problem is kicked up to Prime Time and you are dealing with an unknown entity. ... Read more

I put a $1500 deposit on an 04 Journey and it was supposed to have been gone over and made sure everything worked, plus I paid an extra $400 to have edges of the bays painted ( included to remove the rust before painting). They painted over the rust, you could flake it off with your finger, when the man was showing me the equipment the left rear leveling jack would not go back up, they refused to repair and then they refused my des posit back. we were looking at a camper at the huntley illinois store i called the salesman early that morning and tole him we wanted the camperand that we would be there later that afternoon when my wife got off of work to sign the papers so he said that was fine and also stated tha he would put a sold sign on it so it wouldnt be sold i met my wife at the dealer i also had him pull it inside because it was snowing out so we could get a good look at everything i noticed another salesman pulling the sold sticker off of the camper so i asked the salesman... Bought a new Winnebago from the Ohio store last year for$70,000. Called them a few months later with a simple question about the water heater. Got their robot at the service department which assures you a quick call-back. Over a year, still waiting. Decided when it was time for first service, oil change etc. to give them another shot,,,,,,you guessed it. They won't even call you back on money making maintenance work. I wrote an email to the headquarters of General RV, on 2/18/16, about the treatment we got after we bought a Grand Design Solitude 366Den 5th wheel from the Huntley, Il location. I guess HQ doesn't care either. Right now I'd just like the keys to the 5th wheel we own. We weren't given them after the walkthrough, because no one knew where they were, didn't get them after we signed the papers, because they still couldn't locate them and we still don't have them 4 months later. General Rv was great up front selling me an RV but when it came time for warranty issues it was horrible. I have never seen such poor workmanship or been treated in such a negative manner. I finally started fixing the problems myself. The list is to long to mention here. I would not recommend anyone buy from these guys. I will however say the folks at Grand Design are awesome. I would highly recommend there product just not from General RV Draper Utah. Read more

Did my walk through yeasterday. To my surprise the RV had very little minor fixes. Everyone was great! A big thank you to Jason who made things right (read all comments ) Chad at keystone who was very honest and worked with Jason in Tampa to make things right. General rv's service department for there professionalism! Jill in the Michigan store was awsome and Brian in the tampa store was awsome.
